Free Instructions: Bubbly Bracelet

Make your own colourful bobbly bracelet, the moving metal beads make it lovely and tactile. It features the super stylish bracelet extender, which is so easy to wear - as it has no clasps!

1 x 5g bag of seed beads ( S11MX-5),

9 x 6.5mm metal beads ( MTEA65),

2 x calottes (CASP),

2 x crimps (CRSP),

1 x reel of nymo (NMD01),

1 x bracelet extender (BEXSP-1)

size 13 beading needle (ND13),

two pairs of chain nosed pliers (BEECN)

and a sharp pair of scissors (SCIMX).

Take a 40cm length of stretched beading thread, thread your seed beads until you have a beaded length of 10.5cm. Thread 3 metal beads over the top of the seed beads. Repeat this twice more. Position the beads so they sit in the middle of your threads (photo 1)
At one end pass the three tails through a calotte (photo 2)
Thread your tails through one crimp (photo 3)
Take these three tails, and tie an overhand knot, close to the ends of your beads. Make sure the crimp is positioned in the middle of the knot. (photo 4) The crimp will stop the knot from sliding through the hole of the calotte
Repeat steps 3 at the other end of your bracelet. Repeat step 4 - but you will need to make sure your calotte sits snugly against the beads. When you tie your knot - before you pull it tight- position a needle through the knot (photo 5a), and use the needle to guide the knot into the correct place - and making sure the crimp is in the middle of the knot (photo 5b)
Thread one of the tails onto a needle, pass back through the calotte, and down through 2cm ish of beads (photo 6)
Tie a knot in between beads (photo 7)
Thread the tail through some more beads (Photo 8) then trim. Repeat this for all the remaining thread tails
Close your calotte at both ends of your bracelet. Take your bracelet extender, using your pliers, open the end ring, loop on one of your calottes on and then close the ring (photo 9) Repeat at the other end of the bracelet
