2 x 5mm jump rings ( JR5GP )
Gold coloured beading thread ( KO32 )
Size 13 beading needle ( ND13 )
Scissors ( SCIMX )
A beading matt ( BMT )
2. Thread 2 red seed beads, pass your needle through your heart, and up pass through the second seed bead you threaded making sure they sit snugly up against your end knot (Photo 2a &2b)
3. Pick up 1 red seed bead, pass your needle through your heart and pass back up the through same bead, position your bead snugly against the last bead (photo 3)
4. Continue step 3 all the way around your heart, until you reach the top loop of the heart
5. Repeat step 3 once in the loop of the heart ( photo 4 )
6. Pass down through the first seed bead you added in step 2, pass your needle through your heart, and pass back up through same bead ( photo 5 )
7. Pick up 2 pink seed beads, pass under the first bridge of thread along ( Photo 6a ) pass back up through the second bead you picked up in this step ( photo 6b )
8. Pick up 1 pink seed bead, pass under the next bridge of thread along, and pass back up through the same bead ( photo 7 )
9. Repeat step 8 all the way around your heart, when you get to the bottom point of the heart, repeat step 8 twice in the same bridge of thread ( photo 8 )
10. Stop when you reach the red bead on top of the loop of the heart ( photo 9 )
11. Pass down through this red bead, through the loop and back up through the same red bead ( photo 10 )
12. Pass down the next pink bead, and the red bead in the row below, through the heart and back up. ( photo 11 )
13. Weave in and secure your thread ( photo 12 )
14. Using chain nosed pliers, open up a jump ring, loop it through to loop of the heart, and onto the chain, close the jump ring
or.... make two heart, and make a pair of earrings!
