Beading with the kids

All the beads in this collection thread on the coloured elastic you see listed at the top. Our most popular combination by far are the pony beads mixes, with the letter bead mixes. Pick up a beading mat, choose the colour of elastic you would like, then choose your beads! Beading with younger beaders is so wonderful, an activity where there is so much creativity and fun learning to be had.....colour sorting, counting, sharing, team work, turn taking, following instruction, free play (with supervisions),  patience (!), colour sequences, hand eye coordination, practising/learning fine motor skills, spelling/ letter recognition, confidence building, and a sense of achievement. And of course a lovely introduction to jewellery making!    Young beaders must be supervised at all times
